What we enjoyed about making the game


My favourite part of working on the game is all of the fine tuning and adjustments to features, such as the particle effects. I really enjoyed changing the smallest details of the system. such as the spawn area of the particles, the speed they travel and the colours they will be when they spawn. This may seem boring and time consuming but seeing the changes live makes it all worth it. Things similar to this is the finagling of the player sprite. Getting it to switch colours was quite rewarding particularly when it worked. It brought me much joy to see it work.

I guess the main thing I enjoy is all the little moments of joy after having gotten a feature or mechanic to work. It is truly nice when things work, isn't it?
